Problem
Leslie is, without a doubt, one of the most business-minded fairies we’ve ever worked with. Our connection came through a glowing referral—Danielle of Selkie Sparkles Fairy Hair (a long-time friend of Leslie’s since college). After seeing the transformation in Danielle’s brand and website, Leslie reached out to RISEmpowerment to help her bring the same intentional magic to her own thriving business, Fairy Hair Flare—and later, Beyond Birth Lactation Services.
Fairy Hair Flare is a beloved mobile fairy hair service dazzling clients across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. Despite building a wildly successful business over several years, Leslie had never had a website—relying solely on social media to grow her reach. It was time to give her business a digital home and create a streamlined, professional ecosystem to support her next level of growth.
Solution
Leslie’s creative direction was clear: she’s deeply drawn to the cosmos—celestial purples, cosmic blues, icy whites, and the magnetic energy of stars and nebulae. Our goal was to blend her love for the universe with the playful, attention-grabbing vibe of a “flare”—something radiant, otherworldly, and utterly unforgettable. Just like the shimmer strands she installs.
We built a custom brand identity that captures this duality: ethereal and bold. From there, we designed a modern, responsive website that balances cosmic visuals with strategic user flows. A major complexity in Leslie’s model is her multi-state, mobile pop-up schedule. We designed and embedded a segmented Acuity scheduling system—each location has its own appointment page, linked to region-specific mailing lists.
To further support her growth, we launched Squarespace Email Campaigns—creating workflows tailored to each location’s subscribers, pop-up events, and follow-up needs. We also refreshed her social media branding with a custom toolkit of post templates and visuals, and guided her through a strategy to convert loyal followers into active email subscribers and repeat clients.
Results
Fairy Hair Flare now sparkles with intention—from the brand visuals to every page of the website. Leslie finally has a beautiful, professional digital home where her growing audience can easily book appointments, join her mailing list, and stay in the loop on her multi-state pop-up schedule.
In the first full year after launching her new brand and website, Fairy Hair Flare saw over 22,000 website visitors—a testament to the strength of her social media presence and the power of a well-optimized digital home. Her email marketing campaigns boast an average click-through rate of 5%, nearly double the industry average of 2.6%, thanks to smart segmentation, location-specific content, and magnetic visuals that align with her celestial brand.
With her embedded scheduling system, automated emails, and upgraded client experience, Leslie has not only grown her business—but streamlined her backend, freeing up more time to do what she loves.
Growth Plan
