3. Terms of Service

3.1 Scope of Services

RISEmpowerment offers coaching, branding and web design, business strategy, financial consulting, workshops, and downloadable resources. Specific scope, deliverables, and timelines are governed by individual service proposals or product listings.

3.2 Coaching & Consulting Disclaimers

Coaching (life, executive, business, and financial) is not therapy, legal advice, or medical treatment. By participating, you agree you are mentally and emotionally able to participate and understand that coaching does not replace licensed professional services.

Jonathan Hernandez is a licensed Financial Advisor; however, financial coaching/consulting through RISEmpowerment is educational and strategic only. Advisory services are offered separately through his licensed firm and are governed by separate regulatory agreements.

3.3 Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide timely access, content, and feedback

  • Attend all meetings on time and prepared

  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials

  • Comply with service-specific instructions and timelines

3.4 Intellectual Property

All RISEmpowerment materials (e.g., templates, workbooks, presentations) are proprietary. Clients receive a non-transferable, non-exclusive license for personal use. Redistribution or resale is prohibited.

3.5 Confidentiality

We respect your privacy. All coaching, strategy, and project conversations are confidential unless otherwise agreed. Public testimonials or media releases will only include non-sensitive content unless we have your written permission.

3.6 Limitation of Liability

We do not guarantee specific results, revenue, or growth outcomes. Your results depend on your implementation and market variables. RISEmpowerment is not liable for incidental or consequential damages. Our liability is capped at the fees paid for the service in question.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy

4.1 Digital Products

All digital downloads (ebooks, workbooks, templates, quizzes) are non-refundable.

4.2 Workshops & Webinars

All live or recorded group trainings are non-refundable, unless canceled by RISEmpowerment.

4.3 Group Coaching Programs

  • Cancel 14+ days before start: Full refund

  • Cancel 7–13 days before start: 50% refund

  • Cancel <7 days before or after program start: No refund

4.4 Private Client Services

All branding, website design, strategy, or private coaching services are governed by a signed Service Proposal. Refund terms, deliverables, and scope are detailed there.

5. Media, Content & Publishing Policy

5.1 Bonding Over Bacon™ Lifestyle Vlog

This vlog features informal, unscripted conversations between Chelsea and Jonathan Hernandez, covering topics such as family, RV living, entrepreneurship, mindset, and lifestyle. The views and opinions expressed are personal and for entertainment and educational purposes only.

  • No Professional Advice: Content is not a substitute for legal, financial, medical, or therapeutic guidance.

  • No Guarantees: Personal stories or experiences shared are not guarantees of any outcome.

  • Use At Your Own Risk: Viewers are responsible for how they interpret or act on any content.

5.5 FTC Disclosures

6. Membership & Content Subscriptions

If RISEmpowerment offers premium content, member areas, or monetized subscription content (including but not limited to exclusive podcast episodes, resource libraries, community groups, or gated blogs), the following terms apply:

  • Monthly Subscription: Fees are billed monthly and are non-refundable once charged.

  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time; access remains until the end of your billing cycle.

  • No Refunds for Partial Use: No refunds will be issued for unused time within your subscription term.

  • Access Revocation: We reserve the right to revoke access due to policy violations or non-payment.

7. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution via mediation before pursuing legal action. All legal claims must be filed in the state of New York. Each party will bear its own legal fees unless otherwise determined by a court or mediator.

8. Policy Updates

RISEmpowerment reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updates are effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the website or services implies acceptance of the latest version.
