Introduction
I first met Laquanya, the passionate founder of Ready Counseling Services, through a few mutual professionals in our local area. I got to know her better after my husband, Jonathan, and I attended her inspiring five-year business anniversary celebration. Her dedication to mental health and wellness, as well as her commitment to the community, left a lasting impression on both of us.
The Problem
A few months after her milestone celebration, Laquanya reached out with urgency. Her website and email service were going down intermittently, leaving her disconnected from her patients and community. This wasn’t just a technical issue—it directly impacted her credibility, her relationships with patients, and her ability to share valuable resources and event updates. Unfortunately, this type of service disruption is all too common in the industry, especially when certain website platforms crash due to third-party plug-ins or software failures.
The Solution
After a thorough assessment of her digital ecosystem, I recommended a platform migration to Squarespace for greater stability and fewer dependencies on vulnerable plug-ins. We also decoupled her email service from the website, implementing a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform like EnGuard to ensure reliable communication with her patients.
From there, we tackled her brand presence and functionality, enhancing her website with:
Curated website assets and fresh photography to align with her vision.
Enhanced brand messaging refined through a RISEmpowerment brand strategy session.
Event and workshop promotion capabilities, showcasing her community talks and wellness retreats.
A new blog platform to provide ongoing inspiration, wellness concepts, and patient resources.
A fully branded Link in Bio page, integrated into the site backend for seamless cross-platform navigation and enhanced analytics.
